Front Description
Spirit Lodge was originally an attraction that appeared at the 1986 World Exposition on Transporation and Communication (Expo 86) in Vancouver. Spirit Lodge was part of the General Motors pavilion and was created by BRC Imagination Arts. Rumor has it, after Michael Eisner saw the attraction at Expo 86 he sought to get the rights to bring a version of Spirit Lodge to Disneyland. A contract was signed. Spirit Lodge was in development for Disneyland with Tomorrowland as its anticipated home. The deal fell through. Eventually a version of the attraction known as Mystery Lodge opened at Knott's Berry Farm in 1994. This pin features the logo for the Expo 86 Spirit Lodge on the top and has 'Spirit Lodge Disneyland' written on the bottom. The pin measures 11/16 of an inch across by 1 inch tall. The pin appears to be some type of cast member / project team pin or promotional pin.
