PP174956    WDI - Pinocchio - Hinged Book - Jumbo - 80th Anniversary

Part of a set of pins released by Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Disney Animated Classic, Pinocchio. This pin looks like an old book with words Pinocchio and a silhouette of Pinocchio on the front. There are also what look to be metal clasps on the side of the book that you would unhook to open the book. On the inside front is a blue glitter sky with a lighter blue scroll glitter pattern with the words WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR in black along with a gleaming yellow star. On the other panel is Jiminy Cricket with his arm stretched out as if to welcome you to this beloved story. Jiminy is against a golden background with etchings of icons from the movie including a candle stick, fish bowl, Pinocchio's hat and paint brushes.
