Front Description
One of the pins from the Limited Edition extra-large framed pin set released at the "Adventures in Pin Trading" event held at Animal Kingdom on 12 June 2004. The set features a scene inspired by the Mickey Mouse cartoon "Alpine Climbers" (originally released on July 25, 1936). The artwork for this framed set was created Disney Design Group Artist Alex Maher. The scene includes Mickey Mouse holding an eagle egg and being stared at by a large, angry eagle standing to his right and several baby birds flying above. In the center of the set, Donald Duck is trying to pull Pluto up to where he is, using a rope. Behind, and unseen by Donald, is a Mountain Goat about ready to butt Donald. At the bottom of the frame are Bolivar (a St. Bernard and Donald Duck's dog) at "base camp" and a small goat.
This pin features BOLIVAR, the st. Bernard sitting on the ledge at the bottom of the scene.
