Lions Club Trading pin honoring DISNEY'S GOOFY playing HOCKEY! Produced in the 1980's,
Shows Goofy falling backwards with a hockey puck in his mouth and a grey hockey Stick in his hands. His uniform is Red, White, and Blue and his number is 0. As with all Lions Club pins, there is a pin-on-pin logo of the group (this one, at the bottom, slightly left).
I am unaware if Walt Disney was a member of the Lion's Club, but it is known that he gave the group his personal permission to use Disney characters for some of their pins.
This is a large, double-post pin measuring 2 5/8" (67 mm) at its longest point (skate tip to hockey stick top) and 1 3/4" (43 mm) from Goofy's ears to the bottom of his shorts. There are no markings on the back.
