Front Description
This Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund pin is similar to pin #827 except this version is not screened and enamel coated, I believe it is synthetic cloisonne. and is 1.5 inches in diameter. It is similar in design to the button #17021.
This pin was given to my daughter at school in November 2002 by a Disney Animal Kingdom manager on career day, and she was told it is a special cast member pin. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

"We just obtained this pin from the Zawadi store at the AKL. It is given to anyone who makes a $100 contribution to the fund. Ours is the same pin pictured here only with a 2004 backstamp. It also has the official pin trading emblem on the back. It comes mounted on a 3.5" X 5" card in a plastic sleeve."
another member adds:
This pin was also part of a grab bag of goodies passed around at a Zoological Society Conference. It has an evergreen border with gold lettering and back. It is stamped with a square stating Official Pin Trading 2004 (c)Disney Made In China.
