A prototype of PP178306, this pin commemorates WALT DISNEY DAY. This hinged pin has Sleeping Beauty’s castle on the outside cover, and Walt in a grey suit standing behind a model of Disneyland on the inside color photo. Unlike the release version, this prototype is a smooth pewter with no shading on the castle. 

 

Walt Disney Day (Walt's birthday) was first established by President of the United States Ronald Reagan on December 5, 1986.

 

There are different versions of this pin. The design is the same but the metal colors are different. Please check your pin carefully before cataloguing.
