Front Description
One of a five-pin set, released as a gift-with-purchase in 1990 at the Disney Store, commemorating the 35th Anniversary of Disneyland. Each pin represented a different land in the park. There is a framed map of the park that they go with. The four GWPS were Pluto for Tomorrowland, Donald for Adventureland, Minnie for Fantasyland, and Goofy for Frontierland. The Mickey Mouse pin was only availabe with the purchase of the map.
This pin is round on the top and square on the bottom. The top shows the smiling face of GOOFY wearing a Davy Crockett shirt and coonskin cap. Beneath him, a scrolling ribbon reads, FRONTIERLAND, and under that, 35 YEARS. The epoxy coating has yellowed with age.
