PP1872    WDW - Rhino - Anti-Poaching Squad Official Member

Pin from Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's a gold pin (scans as black, unfortunately) with a gray rhino at center. Around the outside edge are red and green alternating stripes, with white type overprinting that reads, "Anti-Poaching Squad, Official Member".

This is actually a Cast Member pin. It was worn on the hats of the drivers in the Kilimanjaro Safari Attraction ride when the park first opened. I don't believe the drivers wear these anymore. It was not available to the public.

The Cast Member Hat Pins consisted of the following: Pin 1872, 2174,2175, 2176, 2177 and a pin nearly identical to Pin 177.

The pin has a diameter of 1 1/4".
