Cinderella's startled expression tells us that the clock has just begun to strike midnight on this beautiful oversize collector's pin, based on an original drawing by legendary Disney animator Marc Davis. A silver-metal prototype preceding a Disney Auctions exclusive limited edition of 100 gold-finished pins, this piece features Davis' facsimile signature alongside Cinderella, who to this day remains one of his most famous creations and one of Disney's most beloved heroines.
A portion of this auction's proceeds will be donated to the Marc Davis Scholarship Fund at California Institute of the Arts, the Valencia, California, art school that Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney helped to establish.
