From the United Arab Emirates DS stock. Interesting little story about these- they are all backstamped Disney MFG by Monogram Products inc. Made in China (Monogram was the Florida manufacturer/licensee that produced many of the early Disney pins over the years). Some of these pins were released Stateside, but most were sent overseas to Disney stores in Asia & the Middle East in 1992/3 - check out the Minnie pins of the series - her eyes are definitely different! Lots of interesting color choices too (Mickey with turquoise & Minnie with purple ears?) Anyway, some unusual pins that are extremely rare here in the USA. This is the Perils of Mickey MAIL PILOT pin. Definitely in trouble if that's the Red Baron on his tail! The 3 Perils (as seen in the pins & other products released in 1992 that bore this same title) are from the early stories: The Mail Pilot, The Phantom Blot & Mickey Mouse in Blaggard Castle. A fun pin series to celebrate Mickey’s early exploits!
