This set of four pins was created as a gift with purchase to accompany the fine art watch marking Disneyland's 45th birthday. The watch showed a stylized map of the park and was only available on July 17, 2000. Guests who bought the watch also got a lithograph of the art, and the pins. The pins are images included in the art: An atom (for Tomorrowland), Sleeping Beauty Castle (for Fantasyland), rifles (for Frontierland), and a globe (for Adventureland). The number of pins is limited to the number of watches sold. The cost of the watch is $200. If the watch is ordered BEFORE Monday July 17 (the anniversary), the pin set is FREE. If the watch is purchased ON July 17, the pin set is an extra charge ($25). Neither the watch or the pins will be available after the 17th. The pin set will be limited to the number of watches sold, but no more than 2000. (I was told by a cast member that fewer than 400 sets were released.) The watch/pin set can be ordered through Disneyland mail order at 800-362-4533. This set of pins came in their own unique 45th Anniversary hinged box.
According to buyers at the time, Disney decided not to charge the $25 on July 17th, and the pins remained a GWP of the watch.
