This limited edition pin released at WDW. It celebrates the opening of the Build a Pin Location at the Island Mercantile in the Animal Kingdom.
Mickey is featured here with a hammer, pencil and ruler trying to finish in time. The pin reads Build a Pin Opening Day 2003, Disney's Animal Kingdom.
This gold-finished, textured-back pin measures 1 5/8" tall by 1 13/16" tall. It is backstamped with the 2003 pin trading logo and, "Limited Edition of 1000-(C)Disney-MADE IN CHINA".
The Build-A-Pin program was discontinued, at all locations at WDW, in September of 2004.
