Front Description
This larger rectangular button, approximately 2 and ½ inches by 1 and ¾ inches, was given to cast members at the opening of EPCOT Center on October 1, 1982. It shows Spaceship Earth with a rising sun cresting over it. The top of the pin reads, in white, THE DAWN OF A NEW DISNEY ERA.
Near the center (again in white) is EPCOT CENTER OPENING.
At the bottom, centered, is OCTOBER 1, 1982.
