The good fairies Flora, Fauna and Merryweather from Disney's 1959 feature "Sleeping Beauty" are highlighted on this charming black-metal collector's pin, one in a series of oversize Disney character pins honoring legendary Disney animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, who personally selected the image for this pin and whose signatures are reproduced in facsimile on its face.
Flora appears to have black hair and Fauna has reddish blonde. In the film, both of them had gray hair. Only Merryweather had black hair.
The Frank & Ollie pin set #21595 is a Disney Auctions exclusive in limited editions of 100 pins each, with 25 Good Fairies pins offered here individually, while the remaining 75 complete sets of four collector's pins.
