PP22247    Kentucky Jaycees - Lady and the Tramp

Front Description

The Lady and the Tramp pin was the Jayceettees(women's) pin traded at the US Jaycees National Convention in Nashville, TN in June 1979. It was sold for approximately $2.50 and probably fewer than 1,000 were made. The cooperation on the dog food bowl refers to cooperation between the woman's group know as the Jayceettes and the Men's group know as Jaycees until they merged as one in the summer of 1984 and the Women's/Jayceettes was eleminated/abolished.

 

Adding the text from the pin: "It's more fun to do it together!" And it also says "Kentucky Jayceettes" There is also a dog bowl that says "cooperation" on it.
