Front Description
One of a series of 14 pins released to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Epcot. The pins represented the 11 countries in World Showcase, plus three others.
Mickey, bottom right turned forward, holds his green passport in his right hand and blue suitcase with colorful stickers in his left. He wears a red traditional hat and wears a greeen shirt. He has a black camera around his neck.
Behind him, right, is the Epcot China pavilion icon, a blue, yellow and red reproduction of Beijing's Temple of Heaven and behind it is a large green, yellow and red dragon. The word "CHINA" is lower left. The pin has a red background and is shaped like a postage stamp.
There is a similarly-designed Limited Edition version of this pin (#5721) which is numbered on its back and made of a much heavier-weight material.
Note: One person has noted they believe this series of pins were originally released in the 1980s and that the three extra countries not in World Showcase (Russia, Australia and Switzerland) were all originally planned for the park.
