This oval pin has a pink background and simply says Disney Princess with a white P in the background.
This surprise pin was contained within the package given to those who attended the Disney Princesses Pin Event that took place in Cinderella’s Royal Inn on May 21, 2003. The Artists and the Pin Trading Program Staff were present, which is always an enjoyment for us all. Each could leave with a free souvenir photography, but the luckiest ones were offered a prototype of each of the five non LE pins released this day. The prototypes are of course exactly the same as the ones available on the market, but they don't sparkle, and have no special mention on back.
[24 Jun 2003 comment: Many of them were given to WDW Cast Members at the recent Animal Kingdom Cast Pin Event. They were available via a pin fishing game where the cast member picked up a fishing pole, and there was something attached to the other end, which the cast member then got to keep.]
