Front Description
This pin shows Pluto on the moon. His head is inside a space helmet, and he has a bone in his mouth. He is digging a hole on the moon, looking as if he is going to drop the bone in the hole. The pin is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the moonwalk. It is a 5 cent stamp and says Saint Lucia at the top.
In addition to the Jonathan Grey & Assoc. version of this pin there is a second slightly smaller version. The second version was made by Jayne Co. The Jayne Co. version also has a light purple moonscape and says MCMLXXIX Walt Disney productions on the front right side of the pin. Both pins have the same caption 10th Anniversary of moonwalk on the front bottom of pin. Finally the JG&A moonscape version above on my pin is more of an ivory color.
