This is the Completer pin that was released for Disneyland's 48th birthday on 17 Jul 2003 during "Mickey's All-American Pin Festival". It was the game prize for the one-day "All American Pin Quest". Disney warned ahead of time that "maps and pins are available while supplies last and are in limited supply" for this scavenger hunt. Clue-sheet envelopes (for storing your cards as you collected) were available at the Main Street Fire Station and guided Guests to seven different locations in Disneyland. At each stop, you received a different complimentary "Greetings From" postcard to verify your visit. Once you'd collected all seven postcards, you went to the final destination listed on the card and showed your postcards to receive this completer pin.
At each of the seven locations, there was the option to buy an LE2500 Quest-themed pin which had been designed to match one postcard. You didn't have to be playing the game, though, to purchase the pins! Characters in the series include Explorer Goofy, Pirate Donald, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, Jessica Rabbit, Buzz Lightyear, and Huey, Dewey and Louie.
This pin features Mickey holding the American Flag with his left hand and waving with his right. He's dressed in blue pants and a red-and-white striped jacket. Mickey is also wearing a straw hat with a blue band.
