Front Description
This counterfeit of the original Pirates event Parrot dangle was found online. This is NOT the original WDCC pin. Please see #1259 to compare the original with this knock-off.
Banner about 1 ¼" tall & is 2" wide and is back stamped Walt Disney Art Classics.
Parrot is almost 2" tall & about 1 ¾" wide.
Look at the parrot's eye closely, on the original pin it is blue and white, and clearly defined. On this bootleg version, it isn't. The bootleg pin has black legs and black claws. The shape of the legs is totally differant on the bootleg pin. The real pin has one brown foot, which is supposed to look like the bottom of the foot sticking up and the other leg is green with orange toenails. If you look closely at the Skull on the Pirates hat the shape is rounded and so are the eyes and mouth. On the real pin the skull is long and more square looking and the eyes are oblong. The colors on the pin are differant also but you can't always tell with a picture. So if you are hunting one of these pins look for the other tell tale signs.
