Front Description

This pin was released at the Disneyana Fun Fair held in Anaheim, California, July 16, 2000. It was designed by Louie Garcia, creative conceptual artist and founder of the "Just for Fun" Disneyana Fun Fairs, to salute two of Walt Disney's original WED Imagineers, Sam McKim and Bob Gurr. Sam McKim spent 32 years as an imagineer and retired in 1987. The pin features the Sorcerer's Hat, with Mickey's hand holding the point....and reads (at the top) Bob Gurr (left side) IMAGINEERING (bottom) Sam McKim with a banner across the bottom that reads 1955 ONE MAN'S DREAM 2000.

 

The towers, lettering, moon and stars on this pin are gold... Not black as pictured.

 

This gold-finished pin measures 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/8" wide. There is no backstamp.
