From July 1 to August 10, 2003, Disney's California Adventure is hosting the X-games experience, featuring top motorcross, skateboards, in-lines skaters and BMX bikers from around the world as they prepare for the X-games IX in Los Angeles August 2003. Guests entering the park receive a scratch off game card that offers a chance to win various prizes, including the pin. The odds of winning is about 1:575. There is no Disney copywrite symbol on the pin even though Disney and ESPN (a Disney affiliate) is hosting the event. This pin was also sold at the X-Games venue
