Front Description
From what I've been told, this pin was worn by participants in the opening ceremonies of the 1987 Pan American Games. The inscriptions "Disneyland Presents 1987" (on the top line) "Opening Ceremonies" (on the center line) and "Pan American Games" (on the bottom line) are in gold script. Minnie Mouse, in bare feet and a purple tennis outfit, is on the left of the sign and Mickey, in bare feet and red shorts, is on the right side.
The pin is 1 1/2" wide by 5/8" high. The back has a single stake and the old cross-hatch, or waffle, design and is stamped "Walt Disney Productions".
