Disneyland Cast Member Manager Exclusive~ "Walt Disney And You" Award Nametag Pin ~RARE!
This listing is for a Disneyland Cast Manager Award Pin from the "Walt Disney And You" training course. This pin was given to select managers who attended a week long training course covering Tradition, Heritage, and Culture. The week-long course culminates with each manager having to submit a written paper on these values. The Walt and You program was designed to connect the Walt Disney World of today with Walt's Disneyland. After a manager successfully completes the course, they must apply something that they have learned from the course to their business. After thirty days they come under review and, if approved, are then awarded the pin. The pin is a gold sculpted metal color with a red sapphire color jewel element in the middle that really sticks out. On top of the jewel is a gold sculpted metal color Castle. The pin reads "1955 Tradition Heritage Culture". The pin is small enough that the cast managers could wear the pin on their cast member name tag badge.
[2008 comment: On the card I was given July 2008, everything is the same described except the quote at the bottom of the card is "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy."]
