Gold Prototype of Pin 6617.
Depicting Horace Horsecollar on percussion and featuring dangling cowbell charms, this oversize gold-finished pin prototype preceded a limited-edition collector's pin created exclusively for the 2001 Disneyana Convention held at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
Only two protoypes were produced for this pin, only one of which is being offered here. Because it represents an early stage in the production process, this sample may differ somewhat from the final edition of the pin.
There is gold glitter in the drumstick heads and in Horace's horsecollar.
MATERIALS: hard enamel.
