This pin has Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Huey, Dewey and Louie all dressed in colonial style clothes. It appears that they are re-enacting George Washington crossing the Delaware River as depicted in the painting by Emanuel Leutze.

 

Pluto carries a flag that has a circle of seven stars instead of the 13 that were on the Colonial flag.
