Front Description
The pin is a prototype and has never been sold. It has the date of 9/20/03 the date the event was to take place and says Limited Edition 600.
This one of a kind prototype was sent to the United States in advance of the edition size of pins created for the A Pirate’s Life for Me fan-based event that was to be held last September. The entire run of this design and the other bootleg pins that were to be sold at the event were caught outside the country and destroyed, leaving the singular prototypes as the only surviving examples of these pins.

This pin was developed for a non Disney-sanctioned trading event that did not occur. The name of the event was to be A Pirates Life For Me - Pin Event - Sept 20, 2003 and was being sponsored by a private individual. It was scheduled to happen during the WDW Pin Celebration at EPCOT 2003; however, it was cancelled. This is NOT a Disney pin.
