Front Description
This pin has Mickey with red pants/yellow buttons holding a yellow magnifying glass (or looking glass) in his right hand, with the glass partially magnifying his right cheek. He has a frightened/surprised look on his face, with four cartoon stress lines above his head. Only his right arm, shoulders and torso are visible.
There is some kind of a ghost/monster approaching Mickey from behind, as there are mad spooky monster eyes behind him above his head. The background of the pin is black, in the shape of a "burst" with jagged edges. The design of this pin makes it look like Mickey is peering through a jagged hole in the wall from a dark space.
The person behind Mickey is the Phantom Blot, a Mickey Mouse villain who dresses in a long black cloak that covers his head, leaving only his eyes exposed.
This is from the "Perils of Mickey" series from the United Arab Emirates Disney store pin stock, 1992. It is taken from the "Mickey and the Phantom Blot" story. There are another 3 pins in this series besides the Mail Pilot & Perils of Mickey Logo pin.
