January 2010 comment: "Yes, we've come across 3 or 4 of these that had the gold frame tarnish over time. They turn out looking like really dull gold or an off-silver color. And on a couple of them the backs of the pins showed sign of tarnishing as well. They were all authentic. And we haven't seen any signs of scrappers from any in this series. Hope this helps :)"
