One of many pins from France, proclaiming to be from "Official Sponsors". Several of these pins, depicting the "Golden Arches" of McDonalds, a bottle of Coca Cola, Marilyn Monroe and Sorcerer Mickey, showed up at the onset of pin trading in 1999. This pin differs from pin #1984 in both color and size. It is 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall. Mickey's hat is orange with gold stars, and moon, and his cloak is chartreuse. The backstamp lists the "sponsors" trademarks from top to bottom they are: "McDonald's"(arches)-"Disney"-"Coca Cola" and "Marylin Monroe". Of interesting note: Ms. Monroe spelled her name "Marilyn". I've included this pin in the "Error" category because of this. These pins are individually numbered and the addition size is thought to be 1,000. The pin pictured is #571.
