Front Description
This dangle pin released at WDW commemorates the opening of Fort Wilderness. The main part of the circle pin features Mickey Mouse in a western outfit holding a musket (rifle). The text around the circle reads Fort Wilderness Resort Walt Disney World. The dangle part of the pin reads Est. 1971.
This textured-back, pewter-finished pin measures 1 7/8" tall by 1 3/8" wide. Since September 11, 2001, sales of this pin were stopped and no future pins were to display Mickey holding a weapon.
Back Description
The backstamp says, "This is the start of-something Big!-(c)Disney-CHINA".
