PP26606    Moomik - mascot of Canadian Olympic Committee

Front Description

Something possessed the Canadian Olympic Committee to create a mascot who was a beaver with moose horns. They called him Moomik, and he wears a t-shirt with the (old) Canadian Olympic Association logo.

This is one of the three original Moomik pins and was made sometime around 1984.

Moomik has kept a low profile over the years, but he has re-appeared from time to time, most notably in 1996.
