This is pin 1 of 12 in the Japan DS Twelve Days of Christmas pin set. Three pins were released each Saturday, Nov. 15t-Dec. 6, 2003. The pin reads: 1 PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE. The First Day of Christmas pin features Mickey (picking a pear) and Minnie (admiring the Partridge).
Featured characters are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and Goofy. There is a special green and red backing card for each pin which reads "Limited Edition 12 Days of Christmas". Neither the card nor pin specifies the edition size and the CM did not know. However, JDS limited edition series are usually 2500 pieces, but the tapestry was an LE 800.
