Front Description
This framed set of five pins was released by the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society in conjunction with the return of the Roger E. Broggie locomotive to WDW after undergoing an extensive overhaul. The full compliment of four locomotives is, once again, running around the Magic Kingdom.
The frame and pins are depicted in intricate detail, the engineering profile, the number, the original year built, and the manufacturer, of each of the four steam engines. The centerpiece pin of the Main Street Railroad Station at WDW has great detail. The background is a reproduction of an original watercolor of the Main Street Railroad Station at WDW. The set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is signed by: Michael Broggie; Michael Campbell; Mario Fiumani; Mike Lima and Sandy MacGowan, and contains a short Biography of each.
The frame came from the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society. At the time, you could buy the four engine pins separately, but the station pin was only available in the frame set.
This frame is hanging in the Walt Disney Train room located in the Vacation Club Villas at Wilderness Lodge. A boxcar and flat car, from Walt's 1/8th scale backyard railroad, are also on display here.
