Front Description
Mickey from the waist up wears a red and black striped rugby shirt. The outer border of the pin is a red circle; inside the red border are the words "Mickey Mouse Club" (with the word "Club" appearing in a separate white circle).
This pin is similar to (#1501), but it is a true cloisonne' pin rather than an epoxy domed pin.
One difference is that the back of the cloisonne' has a 2-line back stamp reading: "© DISNEY, MADE IN TAIWAN," while the back of (#1501) has a 4-line back stamp saying: "THE DISNEY CHANNEL, 1983-1993, © DISNEY, MADE IN CHINA." Other differences: If you look at the "M" in "Mouse," you will see that it points to Mickey's FIRST finger in this pin, but it points to his SECOND finger on (#1501). Also, the white circle containing the word "Club" goes further beyond the border of the outer red circle in this pin than it does in (#1501).
There are other slight differences that can be seen when you put the two pins side by side (for example, the cloisonne pin is a tiny bit smaller than the DC version).
