PP27570    Japan - Chip and Dale - Gong Koma Pin/Top - Happy New Year 2004 - JDS

Released by Japan DS to celebrate the New Year, this two-piece set features a pin of Chip & Dale with a post sticking up between the two chipmunks and a small tab underneath them, which fits into a slot in the gold disk included with the pin. The disk is designed as a top, so that the post between Chip & Dale can be used to send the 'munks for a spin.

The pin itself has Dale on the left side of the post and Chip on the right. Both are seated with a puzzled look on their faces and their hands sticking up, like they are preparing for their ride. No stamp is on the top base. A pin/top of Donald Duck in a kimono was released on the same day.
