Front Description
This pin is one of the first Mickey Mouse pins that was ever produced. It was made by the original licensee of Walt Disney, Cohn & Rosenberger, in the United States between 1931 and 1932.
It is one of a series of at least four pins made in the form of a shield showing Mickey Mouse in a different uniformed service. The other known pins are Mickey in the police department, fire department and aviation department.
This brass pin shows Mickey with a rifle and saluting. It says "U.S. Army" on the left side. There are either mountains or tents behind Mickey. At the top of the shield in red is written Mickey Mouse. Along the parameter are twenty five red stars.
