PP28104    DL - Pongo - Cast Create-A-Pin - 101 Dalmatians

This pin was designed by Disneyland Resort Cast Member, Ben Johnson, as part of the Create-A-Pin employee contest. The pin features Disney's most beloved dalmatian, Pongo - from the movie 101 Dalmatians - against a red a blue background. Pongo appears to have broken through a piece of paper.

On January 31, 2004, Ben was on hand to sign the pin created from his design. Guests who waited for an autograph received a brief biography of the designers. Ben's reads:

Born in Santa Ana, California in 1980, Ben is a native of the Orange County Area. Inspired by Disney at a young age, Ben's dreams of working for the company one day were never far off. Ben joined the Disneyland Resort about a year ago as a Merchandise Host in the Store Operations Division. An avid pin collector for the past four years, Ben has continued to search for the latest and greatest pins as well as rare and hard to find tradable pins. "When I heard of this contest, I was so excited. Winning this contest has been a dream come true for me and now I am a part of what I love to do. My pin design is now part of my collection, which is too cool. Seriously, too cool."
