Front Description
This pin is one of the final Green Jello pins that Aminco produced for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Not Jello cubes but Green Jello Snow Flakes. This pin bears the official Snow Flake logo and reads SALT LAKE 2002. It comes with a matching spoon (not pictured) that has a mouthful of the Green Snow Flakes as well as the logo. The two pins were sold as a set on the same card.
This pin was indeed made by Aminco for The HB Group. The companion spoon was sold seperatly and is the only spoon pin made for the games. The two pins were made to be together. The snowflake logo took 6 months to get approved by SLOC. It is the ONLY time the snowflake logo was done in 3-dimension. The set originaly sold for $50.00, later the pins were sold for $10-$20 each. The production run was 2002 of each. This info. comes from the guy who helped design the pins.
