Released in conjunction with the third Main Entrance Pass Guide pin at the cast pin party at Disney's Animal Kingdom comes this yellow colored metal pin of young Simba from "The Lion King" sitting down and facing to the left.
Cast members received one young Simba pin for attending the Animal Kingdom event and a second for purchasing two of the event Pass Guide hinged pins. The yellow version is the common color of Simba and accounts for 1990 of the 2000 edition size stamped on the back of the pin. The remaining 10 pins are colored gray and are also backstamped AP (for Artist Proof). Cast members did not know which color they had until they opened the black polybag in which the pin was sealed.
There is probably going to be some debate about whether this is really Simba or Nala (whom the pin does resemble), but since the character icon for the Animal Kingdom is Simba, I have created the entry as such.
According to the Pin Event staff this pin is LE 2000 with 10 AP's in Silver(Grey). ARTIST PROOFS are not additional pins they are taken from the existing run of pins for Artist Verification(Proof) So therefore in fact it is 1990 gold pins and 10 silver/grey pins
