This very special Walt 100th Birthday(1901-2001) Caricature pin was issued by Disneyana Fun Fairs for a Disney Collector show held in Anaheim, California in 2001. The Gold 100th pin (11502) was limited to an edition of 500 and is inscribed so on back of pin. The Red 100th pin is an Artist Proof and limited to an edition of only 100 and is inscribed so on back of pin. The Red 100th pin was given only to Special Disney Celebrity guests who were in attendance at the show. The artwork for the pin was created by Disney Animator/Artist Floyd Norman. Floyd joined Disney in the early 1950's and worked on many feature animated films. Floyds Caricature art of Walt was based on his personal observations of Walt during his daily workdays at the Studio, and were enjoyed by his fellow Disney artists and Walt himself.
