Pluto is the September open edition of the Disneyland Character / Pin of the month ( COM / POM ). It is larger than the Limited Edition, a Portrait that is rectangular in shape, and has a silver frame.

It has long been rumored that the pins in this set were limited in edition to 2000. Though the set was not planned as LE 2000, no reorders on the frames were made due to it being offered only for one month, and because the frames had a habit of easily coming loose. So it is an "after-the-fact" LE 2000 pin.
