This is a special pin, (supposedly their first pin to be) released by Disney Auctions to commemorate their involvement with eBay Auctions.
Sold by Disney Auctionears ONLY to the high bidders of a number of dutch auctions. It is a Limited Edition of 500 pins.
It has a raised highly glossed glace'-like surface, which covers a cutout printed image of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty castle with fireworks bursting above the turrets over a purple sky. Tinker Bell is suspended in the air on the left side of the castle looking toward us. It has a large number highlighted blue 45 in the middle of the yellow castle with the words "Years of Magic" in yellow written over a starry blue fog-like effect at the base of the castle. Below that is has a highlighted Disneyland logo with the word "Park" (not Resort) below the "nd" of Disneyland. The number 45 refers to the 45th anniversary (birthday)of DLR.
The back of the pin has one post on a smooth glossy gold surface. Below the post is printed (not impressed, embossed or engraved) in black ink are the words (c)Disney, LIMITED EDITION, Taiwan.
