PP30736    Donald with Chip Togolaise Stamp - Jayne Co. Version

Reproduction of a postage stamp from the country of Togolaise, this pin shows Donald Duck opening a birthday present which contains Chip (of Chip 'n' Dale) holding up a card reading "Happy Birthday". This pin uses the same image as pin 4621, but was produced by the Jayne Co. as a painted gold-metal pin (as opposed to having an epoxy-coating over the image on the other pin). The coloring also differs significantly, with a solid reddish-orange background, all-blue birthday logo, and darker solid coloring for both Donald and Dale. Written in the lower left corner is "Fete d Anniversaire de Donald Tic", which would mean that this is actually Chip and not Dale pictured on this pin. Along the left side is written "(c)MCMLXXIX Walt Disney Productions".
