Front Description
This circular 3 inch button commemorates the acquisition of the Nickelodeon series Doug (which Disney retitled first as “Brand Spanking New! Doug” and then as “Disney’s Doug” in the fall of 1996).
Its background is white. The top of the button reads, in black lettering “Weekends this Fall.” Below this is the star of the series, Douglas 'Doug' Yancy Funnie in his green sweeter and white shirt. He is high-fiving his best friend (and canine sidekick as Quailboy) Porkchop, the blue dog jumping up at the left.
Doug’s hand rests upon a green box. Inside this box are the words (in black letter) Disney’s DOUG (a ® appears at the top of the G). Below the word DOUG is the following:
