Pin commemorating Donald Duck's nephews first appearance in a cartoon called "Donald's Nephews" released in 1938. It shows Donald wearing his classic blue sailor suit with a white hat with blue band instead of the opposite as in later years. Donald is sitting on a stool reading a book entitled, "Child Training" and Huey, Dewey and Louie are surrounding him, lighting a firecracker or a piece of dynamite under his stool, unbeknownst to poor Donald. At the top of the pin are the words: Walt Disney's Donald Duck in "Donald's Nephews."
