Front Description
This pin was designed by the Pin Trading Team Manager at WDW as a promotional item to talk about Disney Pin Trading to the media and others. Kind of like a Pin Trading Business Card.
Scoop Sanderson was provided with a limited number of these pins for his use on Main Street, U.S.A. He is one of a few people that have this pin to use for promotional items.
At Scoop's pin talk on the 4th of July, Scoop presented this pin and mentioned that he has the ability to color in the background (i.e. Scoop pin #18808) The picture above is without a colored background. Note: The pin was not designed to be colored, but if someone wanted to color the pin, once she or he receives one, she or he could do whatever their heart desires.
It comes on a blue hanging card with an orange boarder and the Pin Trading Around The World logo that lists the three "steps" to pin trading. There is no retail sales associated with it, but for some reason the vendor put a SKU number on the back.
The three steps put on the card:
1. Locate a Cast Member wearing a pin trading lanyard.
2. Find a Disney pin with your favorite Disney character, attraction, movie or design.
3. Trade your Disney pin with the Cast Member.
The pin shows Mickey Mouse showing off his pin lanyard with his left hand holding out the lanyard and other hand on his hip. The background of the pin is a circular area that can be filled with colored enamel to personalize the pin.
