Front Description
This one of 12 pins created for the "Mickey Through The Years" series at Walt Disney World.
Mickey Mouse (facing right) is shown in aviation gear, standing at attention saluting. He holds an oil can in his right hand. The pin is in greys, black and white, with gold background. At the bottom of the pin is a black and gold film strip with "THE MAIL PILOT - 1933" in gold; the strip folds downward at the right end..On the front it says "The Mail Pilot - 1933"
The pin measures 1 1/8" (29 mm) wide by 1 5/8" (40 mm) tall.
Back Description
The backstamp has the 2000 Official Pin Trading logo, "c Disney, Limited Edition 1200, China." (There are some pins without the limited edition on the back (Scrapper pin?).
