Front Description
This pin represents the icon for Princess Ariel (From “The Little Mermaid”). It is a pearl shade yellow seashell with “Ariel” written at a side. It is believed that only 1 of these pins was made.
This pin was sold as a set of 5 at “A Family Pin Gathering” event in the Family Heirloom Auction of September 11, 2004. The whole set was sold for $225. The set was lot #24 and the description was:
Princess Icons (5 pins) This lot features five (5) pre-production samples. These samples have a back stamp dated 2003. These pins feature an “icon” for the 5 princesses (Pin #32947, Pin #32948, Pin #32959, Pin #32950, & Pin #32952). The enamel on the final production pins will be different.
