PP33314    Mickey Playing Banjo - Vintage (Goldtone)

Front Description

This old / vintage pin depicts Mickey Mouse playing the banjo or guitar. The pin is bronze in color but this may be due to aging.

It was one of the first Mickey Mouse pins ever produced and is one of two pins listed in Tomart's under "Historic Pins" (the other is PinPics # 29497.

On the back of the pin is written "All Rights Reserved" and there is a jeweler's mark. The markings are identical to that on Pin 31148. It has a brooch clasp / pinback.

In 2003 the Disney Catalog / Disneystore.com issued a pin set (21423) containing a pin with the same image. The item description by Disney indicates that the image is from the 1932 sheet music of "What! No Mickey Mouse? What Kind of a Party Is This?".
